FAQ - Dirt Trapper Doormats

Caring for your indoor Dirt Trapper Mats

• Please wash your mat before first use to maximise the absorbency and performance of your mat
• Machine or hand wash at 30°C using a colour kind non-biological detergent without bleaching agents/optical brighteners
• Do not use fabric conditioner or a combined detergent and conditioner as this will reduce the absorbency of your mat
• We recommend washing your Dirt Trapper Mats regularly to improve the absorbency of your mat
• Some loss of fibre is normal when washing, the performance of your mat should not be affected 
• Check the filters on your machine as directed by the washing machine manufacturer
• Dirt Trapper mats are super absorbent and in some instances you may need to double spin your mat. If you have a large drum machine, you may need to also re-position your mat for it to effectively spin.
• Large mats are heavy when wet and we recommend when washing in a domestic machine you check the load limit on your machine
• Never place your Dirt Trapper mat on a damp floor
• Lift and launder your mat regularly

Caring for your outdoor Dirt Trapper Mats

These care instructions apply for the Mighty Mudder and Trendy Brush outdoor mats:

• Shake outdoor mat to remove any loose dirt
• Hose down your mat to remove the dirt, hang mat up to dry
• Use a stiff brush to remove any dried mud
• Please do not put your outdoor mat in the washing machine or tumble dryer

Caring for your Car Boot and Bumper Protector mat

• Seperate velcro between the boot mat and rubber protector
• Boot mat is machine washable at 30°C and tumble dry safe
• Hand wash rubber protector and allow to dry naturally before use
