What is a Dirt Trapper Mats made of?
Dirt Trapper mats are made from a cotton rich pile with a rubber backing.
How do I wash a Dirt Trapper Mats?
Dirt Trapper mats can either be hand or machine washed up to 40°C using a colour kind non-biological detergent without bleaching agents/optical brighteners, as this helps to preserve the colour of the mat. Please do not add fabric conditioner or use washing liquids/capsules/ powder with added conditioner as it reduces the absorbency of the cotton pile of the mat. Dirt Trapper mats can also be tumble dried on a low heat setting or left to dry naturally. When washing/drying check the filters on your machine as directed by the manufacturer and also check the load limit on your machine, as large Dirt Trapper can be heavy when wet.
Why do you recommend I wash my Dirt Trapper Mats before use?
Like many cotton pile products (towels for example) absorbency is improved when the product is completely free of any yarn 'dressing'.
How thick is a Dirt Trapper Mat?
A Dirt Trapper mat is 7mm (1/4") thick - if you can fit your little finger in the gap betwen between your door and the floor then yoru Dirt Trapper mat should fit no problem.
Am I able to cut a Dirt Trapper Mats?
You can cut your mat, but we cannot accept responbility for any incidents that may occur as a result of the mat being cut or trimmed and, consequently, you will lose your right to claim against the guarantee
